Behind the Marker
Warfighter Markers was born from a simple belief: that every handshake tells a story and every connection deserves to be remembered. Founded by TY Creations LLC, we take the military tradition of the challenge coin and reimagine it through the warmth and individuality of North American Maple.
From the Frontlines to the Fairway
My journey to the workbench started in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I served as a Team Leader for an Anti-Terrorism and Counter-Narcotics Team. In that world, precision isn't a goal — it's a requirement. After an injury during deployment led to my retirement, I had to find a new mission.
I found that mission in golf. Using the game as physical therapy, I eventually became a Golf Professional specializing in adaptive golf instruction. Working with the PGA TOUR, I saw firsthand how the game provides more than just activity; it provides community, stress relief, and a way to overcome physical limitations.
Warfighter Markers is the intersection of these two lives — the tactical discipline of the service and the social connection of the clubhouse.

Why Wood?

North American Maple
Because no two missions are the same, and no two pieces of wood are identical. While traditional metal coins are cold and mass-produced, wood carries a natural warmth and a unique grain.
We use 38mm Maple discs to provide a tactile experience that honors the tradition of the challenge coin while offering a modern, organic feel. It’s more than a marker; it’s a token designed to be displayed, carried, and used to tell your story.
Purpose in Every Pocket
We don't just mark moments; we support those who move us forward.
At Warfighter Markers, our commitment to service didn’t end with a uniform. We believe that connection and activity are the best forms of medicine. When you carry a Warfighter Marker, you aren't just carrying a piece of maple—you are supporting a mission to combat depression, promote physical activity, and foster the connections that save lives.
As a Warfighter Ambassador for Move United, our founder continues to travel the country, competing in and hosting charity golf tournaments. We are dedicated to promoting Adaptive Golf, proving that physical limitations are not barriers to excellence. Whether it’s through instruction or competition, we strive to show disabled veterans and civilians alike that the golf course is a place for healing, goal-setting, and community.
Founder's Note
"Whether you’re honoring a unit, growing your professional network, or marking a personal milestone, I personally ensure that every piece leaving our shop meets the standard of the men and women it’s built for. We don't just engrave wood; we help you solidify a moment in time."
